Doylestown Station Real Estate
Doylestown Station is a townhome condominium community that doesn’t suffer from “cookie cutter” syndrome. The neighborhood, which was built by Pulte Homes between 1998 and 2005 features 5 separate floor plans which are equally different on the outside as they are on the interior. The homes also feature a variety of facia options, including various colors of vinyl siding and many also have full brick fronts or brick accents. In many ways, bears more resemblance to row homes in small town America than the one note townhome neighborhoods that have become standard. Each home has a 2 car attached garage, either 3 or 4 bedrooms and 9 foot ceilings on the first floor. Many also include a walk out basement and/or optional office.
In addition to the unique feel of the community, Doylestown Station is also located in a very strategic place. It is situated almost directly off of both PA 611 and US 202, which means easy access to Doylestown Borough, New Hope, Philadelphia, Easton and Norristown as well as pretty much any point in between. This also provides access to an amazing diversity of shopping and restaurant options, including Kohls, Kmart, Giant, Friendly’s, PF Changs, Wegman’s and Perkins just to name a few. Many of the homes in the neighborhood also back to Central Park, which is a 108 acre family-oriented park which features everything from basketball, volleyball & tennis courts to soccer fields and walking trail. The park is also home to Kid’s Castle which is an 8 story one of a kind wooden play structure.
To say that this neighborhood has a lot to offer a home owner is an understatement. Pulte spared no expense in the construction of the neighborhood and many of the units feature extensive and luxurious upgrades including tray ceilings, granite countertops, finished basements, hardwood floors, gas fireplace and master bathrooms with both soaking tub and separate shower. In addition, the community does have a monthly association fee that covers common area maintenance, lawn maintenance and snow and trash removal, which means a there is less to be responsible for than when purchasing a single family or non-condominium townhome.
